One of the most important pieces of the trailer though is easily the part that saw Kong yielding an axe against his reptile foe. But this axe is by no means just a regular old axe made of typical materials, but instead is extremely powerful, a weapon that is potentially perfectly suited to take out Godzilla, and an object that could turn the movie completely on it’s head. But what exactly are the axe’s powers? What is it made of? And why and how could it possibly lead to Kong’s victory over Kong?
