That is, until Detective Pikachu, Sonic the Hedgehog, and the Uncharted fan film demonstrated that it could be done, and it could even appeal to their harshest audience, gamers. In this Screen Rant Doc, we look back on the troubling production that was the Super Mario Bros. film and the remarkable achievement that was 1995’s Mortal Kombat.
