Take the Croods sequel, a New Age, which released earlier than it was originally slated with it dropping on Thanksgiving weekend. I know- an actual movie, we couldn’t believe it either! The original movie may not have the same weight as other Dreamworks movies like Shrek and the How to Train Your Dragon series, but has been highly successful in its own right, so it is no surprise then that the family got a second outing.
