15 Actors Who helped Produce Movies They Starred In

15 actors who did way more than act in movies Subscribe: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Screenrant Despite the apparent glamor of standing on stage in front of a slew of cameras and burning hot studio lights, acting is, when it comes down to it, a job like any other. Someone somewhere has a movie that they want made, and actors get hired to star in them. Simple! But sometimes, actors want a movie to happen so bad they end up doing as much work behind the camera as in front of it! Be it adapting a book, a play or an older movie that no other produced has wanted to take a chance on yet, simply getting a long-awaited chance to play the role of their dreams or trying to fix up an earlier viewer-reviled take on a beloved character, there are any number of reasons an actor would potentially decide to put on a whole load of extra hats in movie production. From raising the money and putting everything in motion as the producer of their own dream project to calling the shots behind the camera as the film's director, several big film stars have put in quite a few more hours of work than they would have if they simply stuck to acting. And we thank them for doing so, as these quite often turn out to be the way some of all of our famous movies end up getting made at all.
