We wanted to see if this would translate to the television show, and make sure we understood just what the study was putting forth. So we spoke with the scientists who wrote it! They broke down their study and explained to us just how effective Game of Thrones is at capturing its audience attention, and how it was strongly designed to do just that. This series had created a culture around it for the duration it aired, with people all over the world tuning in to watch. In the age of streaming, this doesn’t happen a lot! And the ratings were incredible, even in spite of the piracy the series had to fight against.
