We certainly can’t. There have been a plethora of Pirates movies in the meantime, and while the quality has arguably dwindled, the franchise is still one of the biggest and best of all time. Disney announced that the franchise isn’t ending anytime soon either with two new movies currently in the works. But while one of these movies will apparently be set in the already established world and series of Pirates of the Caribbean, the other one will be a complete reboot. This means no more Captain Jack, Elizabeth Swann, Will Turner and even Captain Barbossa, but instead a completely new cast, story and world to find themselves in. As of right now details are somewhat thin on the ground as to what will actually happen in this movie, but there have been some news and reveals- including big name castings, hints to plot points and story details and a potential release date- all of which we will discuss in this video!
