Only a really talented performer can successfully keep a movie interesting when it’s just them on screen for a majority of the runtime and thankfully, all the movies we’re talking about today have really strong performers at their centers. Today we’re talking about movies where it’s mainly just one person and highlighting some truly special performances. Some of these you know, and others definitely deserve more recognition. Like I’m sure you remember Will Smith’s incredible performance in I Am Legend, which was billed as him being the last man on earth (even though that wasn’t necessarily true). Or of course we all know about Tom Hanks in Cast Away, which not only was one of the most powerful performances of all time, but also made us all care about a volleyball named Wilson. How crazy is that? But others on this list you may not have seen which definitely needs to be corrected.
