How often have you said it yourself without even thinking about what it really means? These phrases are so commonplace in our society that many people use them without meaning any harm. But these phrases do have meanings and those meaning do harm - boys, girls, everyone is harmed by this. As a girl and a woman growing up in the USA, I learned it was okay for me to cry, but not okay to be angry. And I learned that boys and men are allowed to be angry, but not cry. In this video Cari and I talk about our experiences with this in Germany and the USA. What experiences have you had with this in Germany, America or anywhere else around the world?
